I would like to inquire of the Battle System KOTOER III shall use. If you have any information on this please post here and share it.
KOTOR I and KOTOR II use a Dungeons and Dragons style attle system, this involves a random number generator and variables ala, rolling dice, i would like to know if they have intend to keep this wonderfull system or going to change it.

That's all very well in theory but different companies have different ways of doing things.

There's no guarantee that they are even going to make a KOTOR III so it's impossible to know for sure
But if the rumor mill is correct and Obsidian develops the game, it's possible it will be the next-gen and real-ime system they have used for their most recent releases. ie: Oblivion.

i dont think so, because the fighting wouldnt be as good, if you use an oblivian engine, you'd just slash and block. but it would be cool to have a mini-game with pressing buttons, to improve your roll.

Everything is speculation at this point, at least until LucasArts even confirms there is going to be a game. Wouldn't it be nice if they kept it together and made a GOOD kotor3?

It would be interesting too see if they do use a real time effect in their battles.. i don't mean like attack, defend, medpack. like rolling around and stuff.
